NCERT New Delhi has organized an online photography competition for all school 

students across the country at the end of the two-year period of celebration of Gandhiji's 150th birth anniversary. All the schools in Gujarat have to do 17. For the successful conduct and completion of this competition, a letter providing detailed guidance from New Delhi has to be studied and followed along with the letter. They can properly understand the rules and participate in the competition.

Introduction::

The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, is organizing an online photography competition for school children as part of the two-year celebration period of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary. The important theme of the competition is the pride of labor and one India is the best India.

Pride of labor

Gandhiji devoted his life's work to uplifting the social status of all occupations, whether intellect or physical labor should be involved as it is the same work and equal respect. He believes in the word and the deed of labor.

One India - the best India

India has a rich and diverse heritage in the field of linguistics, culture and religious threads. All these are linked together to form a national identity based on cultural evolution, struggle, historical trail, non-violence and tenants of justice. It is therefore effective to celebrate, promote, demonstrate, establish and build the idea of ​​India as a nation and inspire the spirit of nation building.

Participation Guidelines

• Camera to be used: Any camera including cell phone camera
• Supported formats: jpg, jpeg, png format only
• Maximum upload limit: less than 10 MB

Grade Categories:

• Category-1: Class 1 to 5
• Category - 2: 6 to 8 classes
• Category - 3: 9 to 12 classes
• Number of admissions per student: Only one admission per child
• Submission by Student: All students to submit admission to their respective schools by 9 Oct October 2020.

Efficient for Schools: The Principal / Head of the concerned school will arrange for the selection of one of the best photographs in each grade category and upload the best selected photos between 10 to 15 October 2020 on MyGov link.

Steps to upload entries::

• Login to Innovateindia.mygov.in and register yourself with your email ID and contact details.
• Click on the photography competition to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi
• Click on the 'Register Now' button and fill up the registration form
• Make sure all mandatory fields * are filled in correctly
• Make sure the UDISE code for the school is entered correctly
• Once all the details are filled in properly and successful registration is done, then click on Next button
• Select the grade category and submit the selected entry for that grade category
• Once uploaded to the grade category, proceed with the next grade category

In today's world online education or say internet education is very widespread. We also have to embrace it. According to the child's interest, convenience and excellent education can be given through the Internet. It is time for the government or society or then the individual to spread education through the internet in any way possible. Education is possible only through the internet with immense literature and innovative technology. An expert lecture on a chapter at two o'clock at night can only be served online. Early in the morning the child sits down to study and if he has any question, the answer can be found only through internet. • Participation certificates shall be jointly issued by NCERT and MyGov for all participants whose photos are uploaded by the faculties on MyGov link.
• State level winners: the highest 5 entries of every state shall be considered as state level winners and can tend certificates accordingly by NCERT.

• ICMR-NIN released What India Eats report
• Based on an extensive survey of eating and drinking habits in cities and villages

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released a report on the country's eating and drinking habits by the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) on September 28. According to the report titled What India Eats, there is a big gap in eating habits in India's cities and villages.

According to the report, 53.6% of people in urban areas have abdominal obesity, or 18.8% in rural areas. When it comes to overweight and obesity, the city (31.4% and 12.5%) is ahead of the villages (16.6% and 4.9%).

Has the calculation of body mass index changed?

According to the ICMR-NIN report, the ideal weight of Indians is not 60 kg, but 65 kg. Similarly the ideal weight of women is not 50 kg, but 55 kg. In the recommendations made in 2010, the weight has been increased by five kg.

The ideal height of Indian men has increased from 5.6 feet (171 cm) to 5.8 feet (177 cm). The ideal height for women has been increased from 5 feet (152 cm) to 5.3 feet (162 cm). It can also change the formula for calculating body mass index (BMI).

Why is this What India Eats report special?

A similar report was prepared ten years ago, but there was no data on the villages at that time. For the first time, the contribution of total energy, protein, fats, and carbohydrates from different groups has been reported. It uses two national level survey data.

The report also recommends My Plate, i.e. what the right quality of foods should be on your plate. This will strengthen the immune function. Diseases like diabetes, hypertension, coronary heart disease, stroke, cancer, arthritis can also be prevented.

Reports from 2015-16 National Family Health Survey-4, National Nutrition Monitoring Bureau, WHO and Indian Academy of Pediatrics 2015 have been studied to prepare What India Eats report.

Does your diet meet your body's energy needs?

No. According to the report, the chronic energy deficit in cities was 9.3%, while in villages it was 35.4%. This means that every third person living in a village is suffering from a food-related illness.

According to the report, people in cities are consuming 1943 kcal per day, which comes from 289 grams of carbohydrates, 51.6 grams of fat, 55.4 grams of protein, while people in rural areas are consuming 2081 kcal. This comes from 368 grams of carbohydrates, 36 grams of fat and 69 grams of protein.

As far as food groups are concerned, cities get 998 kcal from cereals, 265 kcal from fat and 119 kcal from pulses and the share of cereals as energy source (1358 kcal) is highest in villages. This is followed by fat (145), lentils and beans (144).

The report says that the source of 66% protein should be lentils, beans, nuts, milk, meat, but this is not happening. Eating fewer fruits and vegetables increases the risk of diabetes and eating less milk and milk products increases the risk of high blood pressure.

Is reliance on grain as an energy source justified?

According to ICMR's Hyderabad-based National Institute of Nutrition, cereals should be your source of 45% energy. The reality is that 51% in cities and 65.2% in villages consume grain as an energy source.

The contribution of lentils, beans, meat, eggs and fish as energy sources is 11%, while it should be 17%. Similarly, only 8.7% of the rural population and 14.3% of the urban population consume adequate amounts of milk and milk products.

Even the right amount of vegetable accounts is only 8.8% in villages and 17% in cities. If we talk about nuts and oil seeds, only 22% of the population is in rural areas and 27% of the population is in cities.

The report states that people in cities consume 11% of their energy needs from chips, biscuits, chocolate, sweets and juices, but the situation is better in rural areas. There are only 4% who do so. Only 5% of rural and 18% of urban population have good quality protein.

What does My Plate's advice say?

The report states in the name of My Plate what would be the ideal plate for you, where you get enough energy and also called a balanced diet. For this 45% of your calorie / energy source should be grains. 17% calories / energy should be obtained from pulses and flash foods and 10% calories / energy from milk and dairy products. Fat intake should be 30% or less.

For the first time, fiber based energy intake has been included in diet tips. Accordingly, 40 grams of fiber-rich food should be taken daily. There is a limit of 5 grams of iodine or salt and 2 grams of sodium. 3,510 mg of potassium will also add nutrition value to the body.

Men with sedentary, moderate and heavy activity are advised to take 25, 30 and 40 grams of fat. Fat intake for women with similar activity is determined at 20, 25 and 30 grams per day. In 2010, fat intake was kept the same for men and women.

The question is that private schools in the state charge full fees in the name of online education but are the children getting online education properly? The government, on the other hand, is not talking about what online education is for children in government schools. The fact is that the education of children studying in government schools is in a very poor condition at present. Millions of children are studying in government schools in Gujarat. More than 50% of these children do not have access to online education. Online education requires a smartphone as well as a separate mobile for the child. Not every child has this arrangement. As a result, even if online education continues, these children are still deprived of education. So how do these children get back into the mainstream of education? That raises a big question.

In the Corona period, when schools across the country are closed and online education is running across the country, the situation in Gujarat is similar to that in other states of the country. But in this situation, there are two states in the country which are also concerned about the education of their state's children in online education and have linked them with online education. These two states are Delhi and Kerala.

The government is also very concerned about education in Kerala. Despite the first case of corona in Kerala, the government has now made the education system so rigid that other states in the country are following Kerala's education system. In Kerala, online education is being provided through mobile but in rural areas where there is a problem of mobile or connectivity, education is also being provided through TV or radio. A survey conducted by the Kerala government found that 3 lakh children have TVs and smartphones and can join the online class, while 2.31 lakh children do not have TVs or smartphones. The Kerala government has started providing education to these rural children through its government channel. Such children are taking their classes by putting TV in the Anganwadi or library of the village. Teachers in Kerala have also been trained on how to do online teaching. The government also ensures that electricity supply is maintained in the area during online classes. In Kerala every week the teacher goes to the children's home and checks on their homework. Parents are also explained the importance of online classes.

After the commencement of colleges in various universities in the state from June 8, students were instructed to start online studies. The current situation is that most of the colleges have not yet started any online study. While some colleges have created online video lectures to show that the work is going on and uploaded it on the website but there is no system available to check whether the students are watching the lecture or not. Thus, a situation is emerging where online education is now proving to be a Persian form.

Even after the completion of the lockdown in the state, the education department has announced that colleges and educational institutions will not start till July 31. As per the rules, after the end of the vacation, the new academic session has started in the colleges from June 8. It was decided to take online lectures for the second and third year now as the admission process of new students is underway. Earlier, colleges were trying to take online lectures in their own way, 

The government has been touting online classes as a viable alternative, but unequal and patchy access to the web has meant the experience is vastly different counting on location and household income.

According to a National Sample Survey report, 90 lakh students studying within the country's government schools haven't any facility for online education. 24 percent of households are connected to the web through smartphones, and only 11 percent have a computer with an online connection, while things in rural India is worse.

Unified communication and collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, Canvas, Blackboard allow the teachers to make educational courses, training and skill development programs.[ They include options of workplace chat, video meeting and file storage that keeps classes organised and straightforward to figure . they typically support the sharing of a spread of content like Word, PDF, Excel file, audio, videos etc. These also allow the tracking of student learning and assessment by using quizzes and also the rubric-based assessment of submitted assignments.

Apart from this some colleges have started the process of taking lectures online but the students are not online at the time when the professor is taking lectures. In this situation, only 10 to 20 percent of the students in that college can take advantage of online lectures. 

While some other colleges in the city have started posting lectures on websites to find a solution to this situation. Currently some of the colleges in the city have created a number of video lectures and put them on the website but the colleges do not have any system to check whether the number of students who have seen this lecture actually study from this lecture or whether there is any meaning in this video lecture. Thus, overall, online education is becoming more and more popular.

Unlock 5 guideline

 Unlock 5 guideline Declared

Activities that had stopped in the Corona period are slowly gaining momentum. The Unlock 4 limit expires on Wednesday. Permission was also granted to hold some public ceremonies with limited people. Meanwhile, schools, colleges and trains have not been fully opened. In this case, their permission is expected in the guidelines coming today under Unlock 5. However, opening primary schools is unlikely.

Will there be permission for public meetings?

In view of the festivals in the month of October and the Assembly elections in Bihar, some more public events may be allowed. At the same time, the number of people can be increased in the public events which were already allowed. Political rallies are also expected to be allowed. The Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal has already given permission to set up a pandal for Durga Puja. However, the Mamata government has imposed conditions like keeping the pandals open from all sides, putting masks on the devotees, organizers and others and keeping sanitizers in places in the pandals. The strictest condition is that no more than 100 people can gather in a pandal at a time.

The ministry of home affairs has announced an in depth guideline for Unlock 5, or for reopening to be effective from October 1, shortly. Despite a steep rise within the number of Covid-19 cases within the country, the house ministry has made it clear that there would be more relaxations and fewer restrictions, though local administrations in some states are heavily counting on voluntary curfew, local lockdowns etc.

Here are the guidelines:

* Cinemas/ theatres/ multiplexes are going to be permitted to open with upto 50% of their capaciousness , for which, SOP are going to be issued by Ministry of data & Broadcasting.

* Business to Business (B2B) Exhibitions are going to be permitted to open, for which, SOP are going to be issued by the Department of Commerce.

* Swimming pools getting used for training of sportspersons are going to be permitted to open, that the quality procedure (SOP) are going to be issued by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MoYA&S).

* Online/ distance learning shall still be the well-liked mode of teaching and shall be encouraged.

* Where schools are conducting online classes, and a few students like better to attend online classes instead of physically attend school, they'll be permitted to try to to so.

The Unlock-5 guideline has been released by the Union Home Ministry. In which theater, swimming pool are allowed to open. This can be opened with 50% of the seating capacity. The government will soon announce the SOP.

The state government may decide to reopen the school and coaching institute after October 15, the guideline said.

Importance of greenhouse site selection and construction

A specific type of structure that regulates the indoor environment by covering it with a transparent or translucent lid. The scientific approach of preparing vegetables, flowers and dharu in a single season is called a greenhouse. In this greenhouse, carbon dioxide, oxygen and ethylene gas are regulated as required. What crops can be grown

• The following vegetables, ornamental flowers, fruits and ayurvedic crops can be grown in a protected environment.
• Vegetables: Tomato, cucumber, lettuce, chilli, capsicum varieties, oats in winter and coriander, fenugreek in summer etc.
• Cold vegetables: broccoli, parsley, asparagus, brussels sprouts, Chinese cabbage, leeks, thyme, celery, babycorn, etc.
• Fruits: Strawberries, grapes etc.
• Ornamental Plants: Hybrid Roses, Chrysanthemums, Funda Plants, Gerberas, Gypsophilia, Carnations, Difenbeckia, Maranta, Aglonima, Coleus, Monstera, Alpenia etc.

Also good quality flowers can be grown. At present, greenhouse is considered as a very important organ for floriculture in Gujarat. In our state, high temperature, erratic rainfall, excessive intense sunlight as well as fluctuations in the percentage of humidity in the air have adverse effects on the crop production of flowers. Things to keep in mind while choosing a place:

• The place should be higher than the surrounding space. The slope of the land should be such that rainwater is well drained in monsoon and sewerage should also be provided for rainwater disposal.
• The quality of drinking water should be good i.e. its pH. PP to 8.0 and Electrical Condition (EC) 0.4 to 0.3 DS. / M. Should be.

Basic requirement of concrete for construction of greenhouse:

• The foundation should be able to withstand the load of the greenhouse safely on the ground as the pressure on it feels like wind force.

Greenhouse construction:
